Hello and welcome to our Tea Time section, where today we enjoy a very famous green tea in China: Liu An Gua Pian. This tea comes from the Anhui province of China, very prestigious for the cultivation of tea, and this particular variety is considered “Chinese famous tea”, so we are facing something serious.

The initial aroma of Liu An Gua Pian is strong, with a touch of very marked grass, to authentic quality green tea. The leaves are of medium-large size, coiled in a spiral shape, and have a strong dark green color, matching their fragrance.

For this green tea we will use about 3 grams and a small teapot. Add water to about 75-80 degrees, and let the infusion be done for a couple of minutes. Be careful with green tea when calculating well the amount and time of infusion, to avoid being too bitter.

The color that comes out is a very clean clear green, thanks to the quality of the leaves. This color contrasts with its aroma and flavor once infused. It is a tea with a lot of presence and personality, but with that point of elegance that distinguishes teas that do not pass bitter taste. In fact, it has the right point of the typical taste of quality green tea.

A very good choice to expand the spectrum of great green teas, close in flavor and aroma to the Longjing variety, even maintaining its own personality. Highly recommended, especially now that it starts to make good weather.
