Hi. Today at Fresh Chinese Tea we enjoy a superior white tea: Bai Hao Jasmine. This white tea comes from Fuding, cradle of white tea in China’s Fujian province. Aromatized with jasmine, the fragrance when just opening the can is floral with a lot of presence.
The leaves are sharp and elongated, medium-sized. This is a fresh tea, which is noticeable in the very tender texture of its leaves.
We will prepare this white tea with a Gaiwan, adding about three grams of tea, and water at a moderate temperature, about 70 degrees. The infusion time will be a couple of minutes. similar to green tea. The floral aroma fills the room, and invites you to try this white tea Bai Hao Jasmine. The taste is smooth, with delicate nuances. The balance between the jasmine and the tea leaf is very good, with a fresh touch typical of white tea.
The infused leaves look whole, sign that it is a fresh and quality tea. The fact of practically not including jasmine flowers helps to maintain the flavor of the tea leaf. Just a detail of the care that has been taken into account when preparing this variety of white tea.
This is a soft flavor tea but endurable after adding water several times, as well as leaves a great aftertaste in the mouth. Of a crude yellow color, perhaps it is this last sensation that makes it stand out above the average. Flavor a fresh fruity tea leaf with jasmine is a masterpiece, which brings a lot of own personality to this Bai Hao jasmine.
In resume, this Bai Hao Jasmine is a white tea easy to enjoy, and difficult to compare. Perfect to leave the mouth very fresh, and suitable for a good dessert. And above all it offers a new perspective of the tea flavored with jasmine, which surprises by the well balanced of its flavor and aroma. An example of premium quality premium tea.
