The scientific journal Nutrients published a study on the health benefits of cold-brewed jasmine green tea.
This study was conducted by researchers at the Tianjin Key Laboratory of Food Science and Health, a center of Nankai University in Tianjin, China.
The results showed that cold-brewed jasmine tea can significantly attenuate high-fat diet-induced body weight gain, abnormal serum lipid levels, fat deposition, liver injury, inflammatory processes, and metabolic endotoxemia.
Ultimately, they concluded that cold-brewed jasmine tea could serve as a potential functional tea beverage to prevent obesity and gut microbiota dysbiosis.
