Sometimes it is difficult to change a tea, especially when you’ve found one you like. In order to not miss the chance to meet new flavors, today I ventured with a typical black tea from Yunnan province.
Here is a Golden Yunnan FOP Finest. These acronyms (FOP) indicate the quality of the leaf, based on a long time classification established by a well-known Dutch tea import company. FOP Finest is a good quality standard.
When you open the can it comes an aroma with presence. “Nice start” I said to myself, while preparing the infussion. The liquid is a dark amber, which surprises for the elegant taste. This is a tea that gives you the chance to drink and enjoy, really a pleasant surprise. With a sediment in the taste of roasted, without pyrotechnics. Simplicity, taste and aroma firmness, are some of the adjectives that comes to my mind, but “elegant” is what best defines it, without any doubt.
