Moderate coffee or high tea consumption may be a protective factor against cognitive decline, according to the results of a study published in the scientific journal Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease.

The study was conducted by researchers from various Australian and North American institutions, including the University of Western Australia, the Centre of Excellence for Alzheimer’s Disease Research and Care, and the AdventHealth Research Institute Neuroscience.

The research monitored more than twenty population-based studies, as well as several relevant case studies.
