Today we debute with white tea in our Tea Time’s section , exactly with Bai Mu Dan variety, harvested in China’s Fujian Province. White tea is having wide acceptance today, due to its high amount of natural antioxidants, being considered one of the ones which most have.

The aroma of this tea is smooth and fresh. The leaves are of a medium size, not rolled. In fact, during the development of this variety the leaves are fermented and allowed to dry briefly. Are its whited leaves filaments which give its name.

The color of the infusion is not white or anything, but more of an amber color. Bai Mu Dan has a mild, delicate flavor. Leave a subtle taste in the mouth, but nice.

Chinese Bai Mu Dan white tea is very low in caffeine, which makes it perfect to take it in the afternoon. In China is often drunk by women, due to its high amount of antioxidants, to stay young.
