Today in our Tea time we enjoy a very popular tea in Japan: Matcha japanese green tea. The main difference is that this tea comes in powder. In fact it is a natural soluble tea. As a curiosity, this way of preparing tea comes from China, although they put aside this method hundreds of years ago.
Well, the first thing you notice is the color and aroma. It has the typical aroma of green tea, such as Longjing, but perhaps not as present. And as far as color is concerned, a uniform pale green.
The mode of preparation, water at moderate temperature (about 70º), and once added stir well until the tea is diluted. It is a fairly simple preparation process.
Once infused it loses some of the initial aroma, with a mild and pleasant taste, altough the color becomes a darker green than the powder. It’s when texture comes in the equation when you realize this tea is different. It is precisely this point which makes the taste a little more durable than the usual.
Definitively, an easy to prepare tea with mild taste and aroma, ideal for accompanying us during the morning, either at home or in the office.
